UNOSARTI makes its copper lanterns entirely by hand. Starting from the Umbrian and Tuscan lantern models of the early 1800s, UNOSARTI has developed an outdoor lighting system in copper that respects the environmentally friendly “eco system”, eliminating steel, nickel and plastic.

In fact, copper is the ideal outdoor material. The oxygen in the air forms a patina that insulates it against atmospheric agents and as a result, copper does not need paint or any subsequent treatments.
the turquoise oxidation on copper, known as verdigris, protects it against all atmospheric agents.



In addition, soldering yields a solid item that cannot be penetrated by water, snow or other elements.
The lanterns are fitted with thermohardened Bakelite lamp sockets that are compliant with EEC regulations and have all options for earthing, ensuring simple and safe wiring.
